The Port of Los Angeles is implementing long-term closures near the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro due to the SR 47 Interchange Project, starting August 18. The northbound I-110 on-ramp and southbound SR 47 off-ramp at Harbor Boulevard will be closed as construction progresses. A new on-ramp and off-ramp will open in November 2025. Residents are advised to use Gaffey Street for northbound access, and truckers should follow detour signs. For inquiries, a public phone line is available for messages, with responses within 24 hours.
