Americold Realty Trust has celebrated the grand opening of its new $120 million Import-Export Hub in Kansas City, Missouri, developed in collaboration with Canadian Pacific Kansas City. This 335,000-square-foot facility serves as a crucial hub for refrigerated goods between the U.S. and Mexico, with features like on-site USDA inspections and a significant load capacity to ease congestion. The hub aims to enhance regional logistics, create nearly 190 jobs, and support the seamless movement of food across North America, reflecting the benefits of public-private partnerships in modernizing infrastructure.
