Kuehne+Nagel has received certification from the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) to store raw pharmaceutical materials at its Dubai South facility, enhancing its healthcare logistics services in Africa and the Middle East. This certification, alongside its existing medical product storage license, provides comprehensive support for pharmaceutical customers throughout the production cycle. The approval follows a formal assessment of Safa Alkhayat, the company’s pharmacist, who was licensed to handle raw materials under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The facility includes significant temperature-controlled space and adheres to various GxP standards.
