Swissport opens its inaugural perishable cargo facility at Liege Airport.

Swissport has launched a dedicated perishable handling center at Liege Airport, operational since August 1, which enhances its global cool chain capabilities. This temperature-controlled facility can accommodate 40 Unit Load Devices, maintaining temperatures between 2°C and 8°C for climate-sensitive shipments. The center supports specialized cargo logistics, particularly for the Dutch flower industry, and facilitates faster deliveries across Europe. With this addition, Swissport strengthens its cargo operations at Liege, building on its existing infrastructure and expanding its global cold chain network.
