The International Air Transport Association (IATA) reported a 0.8% year-on-year increase in global air cargo demand for June 2025, driven largely by a 9.0% growth from Asia-Pacific airlines, despite an 8.3% decline in North America and stagnant growth in Europe. Total demand rose 0.8% compared to June 2024, with international operations up 1.6%. Additionally, while global industrial production and trade improved, the Purchasing Managers’ Index for new export orders remained below neutral.
