DAT Freight & Analytics has acquired the Convoy Platform from Flexport, enhancing its digital freight-matching and automation capabilities. The Convoy Platform automates freight transactions and connects brokers with trucking companies, complementing DAT’s load board, DAT One. CEO Jeff Clementz emphasized the commitment to improving customer network value. Flexport's Ryan Petersen noted the platform's growth and potential as a neutral infrastructure in the freight ecosystem. The integration will strengthen DAT's technology, streamline operations for brokers, and improve payment processes for carriers, ultimately providing a more efficient load-matching experience.
