Swissport has launched its advanced Auckland Cargo Centre at Auckland Airport, enhancing its cargo handling capabilities in New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. Covering 8,500 square metres, the facility features efficient receipt and dispatch zones, the largest airport X-ray machine for cargo screening, and direct airfield access, improving turnaround times and service reliability. Certified as a Customs Controlled Area, it ensures secure handling of imports and exports, including sensitive perishables. The investment supports Swissport's expansion in air cargo infrastructure, responding to growing global demand driven by e-commerce and trade.
