A new cargo airline enhances Ezhou's emergence as a worldwide freight center.

Hubei International Cargo Airlines has been founded in Hubei province, China, with operations based at Ezhou Huahu International Airport. The airline is a joint venture, with Reignwood Aviation Group holding a 90% stake. As Ezhou aims to become an international air cargo hub, Huahu Airport experienced a 261% increase in international cargo handling in the first half of 2025. The airline plans to establish a fleet of 20 freighters and over 10 intercontinental routes within five years, ultimately expanding to 100 freighters and a comprehensive national network by its 25th year.
