In the second quarter of 2025, Singapore Changi Airport saw a 6.2% increase in airfreight throughput, totaling 516,000 tonnes, driven primarily by an 8% rise in imports despite global trade uncertainties. June 2025 alone accounted for 173,000 tonnes, a 9.8% increase from the previous year and 6.7% higher than pre-pandemic levels in June 2019. This strong performance contributed to overall quarterly growth, with China, the United States, Hong Kong, Australia, and India being the top five air cargo markets, experiencing growth across all segments.
