The U.S. and Indonesia have reached a framework agreement on trade policies, including tariffs. Further negotiations will aim to finalize the U.S.-Indonesia Agreement on Reciprocal Trade, which proposes a 19% tariff on U.S. imports from Indonesia, while Indonesia will eliminate tariffs on 99% of U.S. imports, particularly in automotive and agriculture. The agreement also covers various provisions on industrial and agricultural trade, economic security, and environmental regulations.
