ACIA Aero Leasing is set to sell its first ATR 72-600 LCD freighter to FedEx.

ACIA Aero Leasing has reached an agreement to sell its first converted ATR 72-600 Large Cargo Door freighter to FedEx, marking a milestone as the first conversion of this passenger aircraft into a freighter. Scheduled for delivery by December 2025, the aircraft will begin operations with FedEx thereafter. Mark Dunnachie, SVP Commercial at ACIA, emphasized the company's leadership in ATR conversions and expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with FedEx, which is the largest ATR freighter operator. ACIA Aero Leasing, a subsidiary of ACIA Aero Capital, manages around 70 regional aircraft across 22 countries.
