Levi Strauss is set to dismiss hundreds of employees due to the shutdown of its distribution center in Kentucky.

Levi Strauss & Co. is closing its distribution center in Hebron, Kentucky, affecting around 350 employees, with layoffs starting around August 18. Some workers may have the option to apply for positions at other locations. The company has shifted its distribution strategy from owning centers to a combination of owned and third-party operated facilities. In its recent earnings report, Levi's reported a $1.5 billion revenue increase and a significant net income gain. Additionally, the company plans to sell its Dockers brand to Authentic Brands Group for up to $391 million.
