Global Energy Storage Group (GES) has completed the sale of its terminal at the Port of Rotterdam to Tepsa, a European bulk liquid and gas storage operator. This facility, featuring 212,000 m³ of tank storage, marks a significant milestone for GES as it shifts focus towards expanding in Asia, particularly at its strategic terminal in Port Klang, Malaysia. CEO Peter Vucins emphasized the importance of realizing asset value at the right time and expressed gratitude to the Rotterdam team. With this sale, GES has exited the Netherlands, concentrating on the rising demand for bulk liquid storage in Asia. Financial details were not disclosed.
