Honda has launched a new business unit, "Fastport," aimed at the last-mile delivery market in urban areas of North America and Europe using electric quadricycles. These modular, four-wheel cargo cycles, manufactured in Ohio, are designed to operate in bike lanes and come equipped with safety features like proximity sensors and rear-view cameras. Fastport offers a comprehensive service package, including batteries and maintenance, and is focused on transforming delivery logistics. The eQuad can carry significant payloads and has a range of up to 23 miles, positioning it as a competitive alternative to traditional delivery vans.
