Global air freight rates remained stable last week, with the Baltic Air Freight Index slightly decreasing by 0.1% as of July 7, reflecting a 7.3% annual decline. Rates from China to the U.S. and Europe held steady, while spot rates from Hong Kong rose by 2.4% week-over-week. Vietnamese rates increased but were still lower year-over-year, and Indian rates remained unchanged. In Europe, Transatlantic rates to the U.S. and Japan fell, while those to China increased. U.S. rates generally declined, although southbound routes from Miami saw gains.
