Lufthansa Cargo launched a new weekly service connecting Frankfurt and Beirut on July 3, 2025, with its Airbus A321 freighter. Operating every Thursday as flight numbers LH8354 and LH8355, this route enhances cargo capacity and extends Lufthansa's reach to over 50 destinations in the Middle East and Africa. Antonio Tassone highlighted Beirut's strategic role in facilitating exports like perishables and textiles, while Oliver Rossius noted Frankfurt’s logistics advantages for global exporters. The service also supports trade from neighboring Syria as cross-border activities resume.
