New IndiGo B787 routes are expected to transform cargo transportation between India and Europe.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline, launched a direct flight service between Mumbai and Manchester on July 1, 2025, with a thrice-weekly schedule using a wet-leased Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The flight departs Mumbai at 04:25 hrs and arrives in Manchester at 10:05 hrs. Additionally, IndiGo has commenced a similar service to Amsterdam. The airline's Boeing 787-9 features a two-class cabin layout and substantial cargo capacity, supporting diverse shipments between India and Europe. IndiGo plans to expand its fleet further with 60 Airbus A350-900s, expected from 2027.
