Oman Air Cargo has chosen Swissport as its new ground handler at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, with the inaugural flight from Muscat landing on July 1, 2025. The Muscat-Amsterdam route will operate four times weekly, as part of Oman Air's expansion into Europe. The B787-9 flights will transport various cargo, including pharmaceuticals and engineering spares. Claudius Pereira from Oman Air emphasizes the importance of Europe as a revenue market, while Swissport's Jeroen J. Giling expresses enthusiasm for the collaboration to ensure the success of this operation.
