WFS is set to launch a versatile cargo terminal at Lyon Airport.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of SATS, has secured a 20-year lease for a new air cargo terminal at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, which is set to open in summer 2026. The terminal will span 25,313 m², featuring 19,133 m² of warehouse space and specialized facilities for pharmaceutical and perishable goods. This strategic location will enhance cargo processing efficiency, particularly for the pharmaceutical sector, and is expected to reduce turnaround times while minimizing environmental impact. The project underscores the collaboration between WFS, Groupe em2c, Prologis, and the airport authority, aiming to bolster regional economic growth.
