The U.S. and U.K. have finalized a trade deal framework established in May, implementing several key provisions. The agreement includes a 10% tariff on up to 100,000 annual car imports from the U.K., with a 25% tariff on additional imports. It reduces tariffs on U.K. auto parts and exempts certain aerospace products from tariffs. Additionally, a 13,000-tonne tariff quota for beef imports is created. The Commerce Secretary will set tariff-rate quotas for steel and aluminum, and negotiations on pharmaceuticals are planned. Provisions will take effect seven days after publication in the Federal Register.
