Lufthansa Cargo is expanding its narrowbody freighter operations, recently adding Beirut as a destination to enhance speed and technology in response to increasing global demand. CEO Ashwin Bhat emphasized that investments in A321 freighters aim to meet logistics needs, with future growth being evaluated beyond Europe. He highlighted a "supercycle of investment" in sectors like semiconductors and e-commerce, as well as the company's commitment to a bold strategy for growth and profitability. Bhat asserted that globalization is evolving rather than fading, requiring collaboration to tackle contemporary challenges.
