A newly inaugurated fully automated cargo terminal at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) aims to enhance Jordan's position as a logistics hub in the Middle East. Developed by Aviation Handling Service (AHS) and Menzies Aviation, the 8,000 square meter facility can handle 60,000 tonnes of cargo annually, utilizing advanced automation technology from Lödige Industries. Officially opened on June 11, 2025, the terminal features a fully automated storage system and sophisticated tracking capabilities, significantly improving cargo handling efficiency and supporting Jordan's economic competitiveness amidst rising air cargo demand.
