Walmart is set to expand its drone delivery program with Wing to five new cities—Atlanta, Houston, Charlotte, Orlando, and Tampa—over the next year, allowing it to reach millions of new customers. This initiative will enable 30-minute drone delivery from 100 Walmart locations. Since 2021, Walmart has completed over 150,000 drone deliveries and aims to enhance shopping convenience. Wing, a subsidiary of Alphabet, is a key partner, currently handling deliveries from 18 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Customers will be able to order thousands of items, including groceries and urgent-care products.
