An arbitrator has provided a new labor agreement for CPKC and the Teamsters.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has finalized a collective bargaining agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, effective from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027, featuring 3% annual wage increases for approximately 3,200 workers, including locomotive engineers and conductors. This agreement, determined by Arbitrator William Kaplan, does not require union ratification. Additionally, a similar contract was reached with Canadian National, which also includes 3% wage increases. These agreements conclude a period of labor unrest that began last summer.
