Menzies Aviation acquires Spirit Cargo Handling, a company based in Norway.

Menzies Aviation has acquired Spirit Cargo Handling from SAS Ground Handling Norway, marking its first air cargo operation in Norway. This acquisition will enhance Menzies' cargo handling capacity by 150,000 tonnes annually, focusing on high-demand products like salmon and general cargo. The deal includes the Spirit cargo warehouse at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, employee contracts, and existing freighter operations. Menzies aims to strengthen its air cargo presence in Europe and improve service quality for partner airlines, expanding its global network to 73 stations handling 2.4 million tonnes last year.
