The Port of Los Angeles has implemented a spending plan to transition its drayage fleet to zero-emissions vehicles, endorsed by the Board of Harbor Commissioners. This plan will manage the allocation of revenue from the Clean Truck Fund (CTF) until June 2028, focusing on enhancing charging and fueling infrastructure and providing vouchers to reduce the purchase cost of zero-emissions trucks. Currently, 546 such trucks operate at the port, primarily funded through CTF vouchers. This initiative comes amid legislative uncertainties regarding emissions reduction in the trucking industry.
