The air cargo market remained stable in tonnage during the week ending May 25, with a six percent increase in demand compared to the previous year, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. The most significant growth was seen in air freight from Asia Pacific to North America (+19%) and North America to Asia Pacific (+13%), while a decline occurred from Central & South America to North America (-23%). Notably, exports from China to the USA fell by 14% compared to the same period in 2024, whereas exports to Europe rose by 11%, indicating a shift in market dynamics.
