WestJet Cargo announced the success of its customs outsourcing partnership with TCE, initiated on November 18, 2024, to enhance customs processing efficiency for international cargo. This collaboration aims to reduce fixed costs and improve resource management and customer service. TCE has streamlined WestJet's customs workflow and established real-time monitoring, handling various compliance processes effectively. The partnership has already resulted in significant cost savings, with expectations of reducing customs fines to less than a fifth of the previous year's total by year-end.
