Hooker Furnishings plans to open a warehouse in Vietnam in May while closing its Savannah, Georgia facility to streamline logistics. The Savannah site was primarily used for low-margin inventory, and its closure is expected to save the company up to $1 million in fiscal year 2026. Although Hooker will consolidate operations, it will not transfer end-of-life products due to relocation costs. The Vietnam warehouse aims to enhance inventory management and reduce lead times, supporting better product flow and potentially improving profit margins.
