DHL Supply Chain acquires IDS Fulfillment, expanding its small and medium-sized business shipping clientele.

DHL Supply Chain has acquired IDS Fulfillment, a logistics provider specializing in e-commerce and retail, enhancing its U.S. customer base, particularly among small and medium-sized businesses. IDS ships over 50,000 packages daily from four facilities, which DHL will manage under existing leadership. The acquisition will provide new customers access to advanced technology and support, while maintaining familiar points of contact. Additionally, IDS's "ProParcel" shipping capability will improve efficiency for smaller shippers. This move follows DHL's earlier acquisition of Inmar Supply Chain Solutions to bolster its returns capabilities.
