DHL Supply Chain has acquired IDS Fulfillment, a U.S.-based logistics provider, to enhance its e-commerce services for small and midsized businesses. This acquisition adds over 1.3 million square feet of distribution space in various U.S. locations, ensuring a smooth transition for customers and staff. DHL's CEO, Patrick Kelleher, highlighted that this move aligns with their Strategy 2030 agenda, targeting growth in e-commerce. The acquisition follows DHL's earlier purchase of Inmar's reverse logistics business, further solidifying its position in the North American market.
