This technology helps retailers better predict inventory needs based on actual sales data rather than just sales expectations, allowing them to identify stock level anomalies and optimize inventory orders. Deborah Weidemeyer, VP of merchandising lifecycle at Mattress Firm, expressed confidence in the expected return on investment from this initiative.
