Qatar Airways Cargo has been named the launch customer for the Mammoth Freighters 777-200LRMF, finalizing a deal for five converted freighters with Jetran, LLC. Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo, highlighted that this acquisition enhances their fleet and global air freight leadership. The Mammoth 777-200LRMF prototype recently completed its first test flight, demonstrating advanced performance. Qatar Airways is also the second-largest operator of the Boeing 777F and has ordered up to 50 of the next-generation 777-8 freighters, underscoring its commitment to expanding its cargo capabilities.
