From Dubai to Baku: The Role of Aggreko in Energizing a Landmark Event

Aggreko, in partnership with Kuehne+Nagel, successfully delivered uninterrupted electricity for a major event in Azerbaijan, overcoming significant logistical challenges. With power equipment primarily from the UAE and additional assets from Europe and India, they implemented a "Sea-Road" strategy to bypass the complex Red Sea crisis. Equipment was shipped to Iraq, then transported overland through multiple countries, while European dispatches were coordinated simultaneously. Ultimately, 1,078 tonnes were delivered overland, 1,000 tonnes by sea, and 150 tonnes airlifted, all without delays, highlighting the importance of efficient logistics in the event sector.
