CMA CGM purchases the cargo division of Air Belgium to enhance its air fleet in Europe.

CMA CGM Group has acquired the cargo operations of Air Belgium, enhancing its air freight presence in Europe and ensuring the continuity of Air Belgium’s services. The deal preserves 124 jobs, including 72 pilots, and maintains the Air Belgium brand under CMA CGM’s air cargo division. This acquisition integrates Air Belgium's aircraft into CMA CGM's fleet, enabling tailored freight solutions. It aligns with the Group's strategy for multimodal transport amidst global supply chain challenges and supports the expansion of its cargo capabilities in Europe and North America.
