Lufthansa Cargo reported a 21% increase in Q1 2025 sales revenue, reaching EUR 834 million, with adjusted EBIT rising to EUR 62 million from EUR -22 million in Q1 2024. The airline credits this growth to strong e-commerce performance and high market demand across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. Freight capacity also grew by 7%, aided by new aircraft and expanded operations, resulting in a 64% load factor. Investments of EUR 27 million were made for expanding the Frankfurt freight center, as the fleet continues to expand with new aircraft orders.
