United Airlines experienced a 10% rise in cargo revenue, totaling $429 million in Q1 2025, with a 4.3% increase in cargo revenue tonne miles. The airline supported disaster relief efforts by transporting over 8,000 pounds of cargo and donating nearly $400,000. Operating revenue rose 5% to $13 billion, with net income recovering to $387 million from a previous loss. CEO Scott Kirby emphasized a strategy focused on building customer loyalty and improving service. Despite economic uncertainty, United anticipates strong earnings for Q2 and 2025, while reducing domestic capacity by four points in Q3.
