DHL aims to enhance its healthcare division through the acquisition of Cryopdp.

DHL has announced its acquisition of Cryopdp, a healthcare logistics provider, from Cryoport for $195 million, aiming to enhance its healthcare logistics network. Cryopdp specializes in temperature-controlled transport for life sciences, handling over 600,000 shipments annually across 135 countries. The deal is expected to finalize in mid-2025, pending regulatory approval, and will integrate Cryopdp into DHL's Supply Chain division. Additionally, a strategic partnership between DHL and Cryoport will further extend their capabilities in healthcare logistics, particularly in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions.
