WiseTech Global has enhanced its customs capabilities by acquiring Editrade S.A., a South American customs management software provider, thereby strengthening its footprint in Latin America, specifically in Chile, Ecuador, Panama, and Mexico. Founded in 1995, Editrade offers solutions for customs agencies and companies in foreign trade. This acquisition aligns with WiseTech's aim to expand its global customs operations. CEO Vlad Bilanovsky emphasized the importance of Editrade's local expertise, while Editrade's CEO, Juan Enrique Ortuzar Elton, highlighted the potential for improved automation and new career opportunities for employees.
