DHL Express transports 17 mountain bongo antelopes from the United States to Kenya.

DHL Express collaborated with Tusk, a conservation charity, to transport 17 critically endangered mountain bongo antelopes from Florida's Rare Species Conservatory Foundation to a sanctuary in Kenya. With fewer than 100 mountain bongos left in the wild, DHL provided specialized logistics for their safe transfer, including a dedicated aircraft. The herd, consisting of 12 females and 5 males, will stay in a 20-acre sanctuary for breeding before being reintroduced to Mount Kenya's ecosystem. This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration in wildlife conservation and community involvement for sustainable efforts.
