DHL Express transports at-risk antelopes to Kenya via air.

DHL Express has teamed up with Tusk to transport 17 critically endangered mountain bongo antelopes from the Rare Species Conservatory Foundation in Florida to a sanctuary in Kenya. With fewer than 100 mountain bongos left in the wild due to poaching and habitat loss, this relocation is vital for their recovery. DHL arranged a dedicated aircraft for the journey, ensuring the animals' welfare during transport. The herd will be housed in a 20-acre sanctuary, where they will breed before being reintroduced to their native ecosystem, marking a significant step in conservation efforts.
