FedEx is set to generate nearly $400 million in new annualized revenue for its healthcare sector within the next 90 days, leading to approximately $9 billion in total healthcare revenue by the fiscal year's end. EVP Brie Carere highlighted the FedEx Surround platform's real-time shipping visibility as a significant factor in this success, especially for high-value shipments. The company is also leveraging technology from its returns platform to enhance delivery services in healthcare. Despite these gains, FedEx faces tough competition from UPS, which reported $10.5 billion in healthcare revenue in 2024 and aims to reach $20 billion by 2026.
