A recent TIACA report reveals strong support for sustainability in the air cargo industry, with 96% of leaders reporting CEO backing and 71% of companies implementing sustainability strategies. Despite this, only 32% are utilizing fossil-free energy solutions like Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), while 91% are focused on eliminating single-use plastics. Transparency in sustainability reporting varies significantly by company size, with 69% of large firms producing reports compared to just 23% of smaller ones. TIACA encourages all businesses to adopt clear sustainability targets and utilize assessment tools to improve practices.
