Air cargo prices and demand are consistently rising.

In the second week of March, global air cargo rates and demand saw a slight increase, with a 1% rise in worldwide tonnages compared to the previous week, marking a 3% year-on-year growth. Central & South America and Asia Pacific contributed to this uptick, while the Middle East & South Asia experienced a 4% decrease, partly due to the Holi festival. Average worldwide rates rose 3% to $2.37 per kilo. Notably, Asia Pacific tonnages rebounded sharply, with significant increases to Europe and North America, indicating a strong recovery from the Lunar New Year impact.
