WFS and K+N collaborate in Frankfurt to speed up the clearance process for imported cargo.

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of SATS, has initiated a pilot project in collaboration with Kuehne+Nagel to enhance import cargo clearances at Frankfurt Airport. This initiative, developed by WFS’ e-commerce & freight forwarder handling team, aims to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs by decreasing waiting times and storage fees. Initial results indicate faster air cargo delivery times through a trucking control tower that coordinates truck movements and customer inquiries. Both companies express optimism that this partnership will lead to more efficient import handling for the cargo community.
