SATS and Vietnam Airlines are set to collaborate on the construction of a cargo terminal at Long Thanh Airport.

SATS and Vietnam Airlines have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop and operate an air cargo terminal at the upcoming Long Thanh International Airport (LTIA) in Vietnam. This partnership aims to enhance ground and cargo handling services across Vietnam Airlines' international network and co-develop customized logistics solutions. LTIA, situated 35 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, is set to begin operations in phases, with the first phase expected by late 2026, ultimately accommodating 100 million passengers and five million tonnes of cargo annually by 2050.
