H-E-B has launched a new 100,000-square-foot e-commerce fulfillment center in Houston, aimed at enhancing pickup and home delivery services in the area. This facility is part of H-E-B's strategy to invest in dedicated fulfillment centers, differentiating itself from other grocers that rely on stores for online orders. As the population in surrounding counties grows, H-E-B continues to expand its presence, having opened nine fulfillment centers since 2018 to improve supply chain efficiency. The company is also hiring for various positions at the new facility.
