GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. reported remarkable growth in cargo operations for CY 2024, handling 180,914 metric tonnes of cargo, a 22% increase from the previous year. International cargo surged by 36%, while domestic cargo grew by 5%. The airport is a key hub for high-value pharmaceutical cargo and has received accolades for its efficiency in cargo release times. Infrastructure is being expanded with upgrades to existing terminals and a new cargo terminal under construction. CEO Mr. Pradeep Panicker emphasized the commitment to excellence and innovation in serving diverse cargo needs.
