Reckitt, known for products like Mucinex and Lysol, is localizing its supply chain to enhance responsiveness to consumer needs, as stated by Philip Hampden-Smith, SVP of supply for North America. The company has established a new manufacturing facility in Wilson, North Carolina, aimed at improving access to over-the-counter products and increasing resiliency against various challenges. This $200 million facility, scheduled to open in early 2027, will feature advanced technology and serve as Reckitt's flagship for U.S. operations, with plans for further expansion in the future.
