Procter & Gamble CFO Andre Schulten reported that the recent shutdown of their transportation management service provider, Blue Yonder, had a minor impact on operations. The shutdown, linked to a late November ransomware attack, affected major companies but was nearing recovery by early December. To manage the resulting backlog, P&G implemented a manual solution within 12 hours, allowing them to process shipments effectively. Schulten noted that while some short-term shipment delays occurred, he remains optimistic about the company's overall fiscal performance, believing they can recover lost time and costs.
